Therapeutic Massage
Upon your arrival at Wellness an intake form is completed, followed by a discussion of your goals for the session which sets the course for the treatment. All treatments are individually tailored and, depending upon the therapist and your needs, may include techniques from: Deep Tissue Therapeutic Massage, Classic Swedish Massage, Esalen Style Massage, Shiatsu, Trigger Point & Neuromuscular Therapy.

Warm Stone Massage
Astounding relaxation comes from therapeutic deep heat & massage. Smooth, polished Basalt Lava Stones are warmed in water and applied to the body. The stones are then utilized with essential oils in a full body massage. Benefits come with deep heat therapy and relaxing massage. Thai Herbal Poultice Massage
A healing variety of therapeutic Thai herbs are gently steamed in muslin linen balls. Your therapist applies the herbal poultice to your body in a rolling, kneading motion, gently warming the muscles so they are ready to receive a deeper massage. An excellent treatment to soothe sore muscles, alleviate pain, induce deep relaxation, and relieve stress & fatigue.

Ashiatsu Oriental Bar Therapy
“The deepest most luxurious massage on the planet” a western modality based upon ancient forms of Asian therapeutic treatments. Utilizing parallel bars overhead for balance and leverage, the AOBT therapist uses body weight to apply pressure directed through bare feet. A smooth, flowing, gliding, technique on lubricated skin provides an intensely deep, and amazingly relaxing therapeutic massage experience. Clients receive anything from moderate pressure to very deep work without the pain and discomfort that often accompanies the use of a therapist’s thumbs or elbows. This modality has been shown to be especially effective in the treatment of low back pain; however, it is also safe and effective on almost all areas where “hands on” techniques are used.

Wellness Thai Fusion Massage
Thai Fusion Massage takes place on a massage table and is a combination of traditional Thai massage stretches with warm bamboo and steamed herbal poultice (linen bags filled with herbs, tied into tight pouches, steamed, then rhythmically stamped, kneaded and rocked over the body), a luxurious, deep relaxing treatment. Through gentle rocking and rhythmic movements along energy pathways, the body opens with increased flexibility. In Thai Massage it is not just the hands that are used to free tension from the recipient’s body, but the therapist’s feet, knees, forearms, and traditional Thai massage tools as well. Traditionally given on the floor, Wellness Thai Massage has been modified to be performed on the table to heighten relaxation and maximize comfort.

Paraffin Treatment by PerfectSense™
Our all-natural aromatherapy paraffin is infused with eleven vitamins, including A, C, E, D, B-5, B-12 and the mineral selenium – nutrients vital for healthy skin. This infusion delivers heat and hydration for soft, smooth skin, while easing muscle and joint pain. Back “Facial” Treatment
This effective back facial begins with a deep cleansing of the back to remove excess oil and debris, followed by a salt scrub and light massage under the steam. A customized masque will leave you relaxed and your skin radiant, truly a “facial” for your back.
